lokaalhost:22 is a community makerspace in Amsterdam. We operate out of Lokaal 432, a room inside the former Olympus school building at Erich Salomonstraat 432.

Inside you'll find workbenches, soldering stations, 3D printers, a collection of microcontrollers, and whatever else members drag in.

> the name

The name references localhost:22, the SSH port on a local machine. We applied this literally by establishing a lokaal (Dutch for "room" or "classroom") where people can connect.

Software devs, hardware tinkerers, artists, curious minds. No membership fees, no gatekeeping. Just show up and make things.
